Hallo zusammen,

Hi Mali,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users right now, so I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, it might take a while until they're available again.
Now, coming back to your question, When you send a document to be signed, it does not have an expiration date by default. However, there is an option to add an expiration date when sending the document. If you do not enable this option, the document will not have an expiration date. Let me show you how to enable the expiration date:
1. In Sign Builder, in the green navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Send.
2. In the Send To Sign section, you can easily send your document so people can sign it.
3. Just enter a name and email address in the related fields, and click on Send To Sign.
4. In the Options tab, toggle the Expiration Date button to the ON position and select the Date and Time of expiration.
That's it. Make sure to verify that the expiration date option is not enabled when sending the document for signature. If the document link is already expired, it is not possible to enable it again. You need to send the link again to sign.
Give it a try and let us know if you need any help.
