    Sehr geehrtes Support-Team,

    Dear Support Team,

I would like to automatically transfer the time shown in the screenshot within the red circled window to an invisible field directly below it. Only the time should appear when I enter a date and a time there. Unfortunately, my previous attempts have not been successful. Do you have any ideas or instructions on how I can achieve this? I would greatly appreciate your feedback.

    Kind regards

    Hi nice_lead,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, coming back to your question, It seems that you pasted the wrong screenshot. Can you send us again the screenshot of what you want to achieve? This guide will show you how to do that.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Hi nice_lead,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, splitting the date and time in the Date Picker field isn't possible. However, we can incorporate the Time Widget, which permits you to hide it and establish custom times. Let me show you how:

    1. In Form Builder page, select Build located at the top orange menu bar.
    2. Navigate to the left, Select Add form Elements.
    3. Under the Basic tab, click and drag the Time Element into your form.
    4. Now, select Properties(Gear Icon). How to Add Time Element and hide it Image 1 Screenshot 50
    5. Under the Options tab, you can set your Default time or Custom time. How to Add Time Element and hide it Image 2 Screenshot 61
    6. Once done, let's proceed by hiding the field by enabling Hide Field. How to Add Time Element and hide it Image 3 Screenshot 72

Additionally, you can do ahead and disable the Time option in the Date picker field.

    1. Click Properties(Gear Icon)
    2. Under Time tab , disable Time Field. How to Add Time Element and hide it Image 4 Screenshot 83

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Dear support team,

thank you for your solution and effort. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that this solution is already known to me. However, I need the date and time for the Google Calendar integration, so it is not possible to delete it. When I run the integration in Pipedrive, it only shows me the date and not the time. That is my issue. If you have any other ideas, please let me know. Otherwise, I will have to come up with something else. Thank you and have a great day.

    Hi nice_lead,

Thanks for waiting. You can use the Substring widget to capture the time value from the Date Picker field. First, you must get the field ID of the time value. Here's how:

    1. Click on the Gear icon attached to the Date Picker field.
    2. Go to the Advanced tab.
    3. Scroll down to the bottom and expand Field Details.
    4. Copy the time input field ID.

After getting the field ID of the time input, add the Substring widget and do the following configuration:

    1. In the Form Elements window, go to Widgets.
    2. Search for and add the Substring widget.
    3. Click on the Wand icon attached to it.
    4. In the Source Field ID, paste the unique ID that was copied on the steps above.
    5. Set the Substring start to 0.
    6. Set the Substring end to 5.
    7. Click Update Widget.

Thank you very much for this proposed solution.

It worked, and it runs exactly as I had imagined.

    So, a thousand thanks.
