    Guten Morgen,

    Danke!

    Hi Markus,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

With that being said, can you explain a bit more about the issue? Also, is this the form 221656309347358 in question? As to how I understand it, you would like to send the PDF submission copy to the form filler as well, right? If so, then you'll have to enable PDF attachment from the Autoresponder email and make sure the recipient is set to the email field in the form. Let me walk you through it:

    1. In the Form Builder, click on the Settings tab.

    2. Select Emails from the left side menu and edit the Autoresponder email.

    3. Enable Attach PDF from the Advanced tab and select the PDF Document.

    4. Go to the Recipients tab and change the map the Email field to the Recipient Email.

    5. Lastly, click on Save.

    Hallo Lorenz,

Hier an "Test - Mail Absender"

    Hi Markus,

Thanks for getting back to us. Do you want to include the uploaded files to the email notification? I checked your form 221656309347358 and you have the 'Send File Uploads as Attachment' enabled, so they should be attached to the email. But it seems like you've mentioned something about, that 'sending email doesn't work at the moment', so I'm quite confused with what the actual issue is. Can you explain a bit more about what exactly is happening?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to help you with this.

    Hallo Lorenz,

    Hi Daniel,

I'm sorry you're having trouble with this. Am I correct that this is the form 221656309347358 having the issue? If not, could you share the form having the issue so we can check?

But if that's the form, I checked and you currently have the PDF and file attachment enabled. Nonetheless, take note that even though you have them enabled, there's a 5mb limit placed on the email attachment, so if the total size of all the files that were suppose to be attached to the email exceeds that limit, the email will be delivered without the document/file attachments.

Currently, there's no way to increase that 5mb limit, so we highly encourage users to also add the file upload's field variable in the Email notification template, which I can see is already added, and the PDF link, so they are still sent as a downloadable link. Let me walk you through on how to include the PDF link:

    • Edit the Email Notification in the Builder.
    • Click on the +Form Fields button in the Notification template's text editor.
    • Next, scroll down and select PDF link to add it to the Email Content.
    • Lastly, click on Save.
