    Lieber Support,

    Hi easyrent24service,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, our German Support agents are busy helping other Jotform users at the moment. I'll try to help you in English using Google Translate, but you can reply in whichever language you feel comfortable using. Or, if you'd rather have support in German, let us know, and we can have them do that. But, keep in mind that you'd have to wait until they're available again.

Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, the integration only sends data from Jotform to Monday. There is no option to pull data from Monday and push it to Jotform. But we do have a prefill feature that lets you prefill the form fields on Monday.com. If that's something you're interested in, let me show you how to set it up:

    • Open your form in Form Builder, and in the orange navigation bar at the top of the screen, click on Publish.
    • In the menu on the left side of the page, click on Prefill.
    • Click on the Monday.com prefill and select the fields you see below:

To transfer the data from Jotform to the Monday.com integration, it's important that the data type on both ends is the same. The drop-down menu in the Monday.com integration should match the one in the Jotform dropdown menu:

Give it a try and reach out again if you need any help.

Is there a way to create a form in which there is an input field where the user can enter an ID and this ID is then checked whether it is stored in a Jotform database and if so from the appropriate line in which the correct ID is listed is to automatically open the PDF document, which is also stored in the ID line and if the ID entered by the user is not in the Monday database, simply display an error message that the ID does not exist?

    Hi easyrent24service,

Thanks for getting back to us. As I've previously mentioned, it is not possible to pull data from Monday.com to Jotform. So your last question or use case is still not possible. But if you're willing to transfer the data from Monday.com to another database, like a simple spreadsheet, we do have a workaround that may work. You can use the Spreadsheet to Form widget. This widget can check if the inputted ID or code is correct. It will also allow you to auto-complete the fields if the inputted code is correct. Let me show you how to add this to your form:

    • Create a spreadsheet that includes your data in the structure you see below. It's important that the column names in the spreadsheet and field names on the form are the same.

    • In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Widgets tab, search for the Spreadsheet to Form widget and add it to your form.

    • In the Widget Settings window that opens up, upload your data file and customize the other options.
    • Then, click on Update Widget.
