    Hi Kevin,

Thanks for reaching out to us for help. Note that password protected forms do not offer the level of security to access the form responses as encrypted forms do.

If you have enabled the password protection, the user filling out the form requires entering the same password when they open the form. This way, you are restricting the form from all users. The users whom you share the password can open and submit a response on your form. But you don't need to enter the password to see their responses on the submission tables.

Whereas on an encrypted form, the users don't need to put a password when they are filling out the form. The form owner must enter the access code that they had set up to see the form responses.

Also, the users can't receive an autoresponder email containing their form responses on encrypted forms. But you can do so on a password protected form.

Feel free to reach out again if you have any questions or if we can help you in any other way.

Ok, thank you so much - so for forms where users are filling in bank data / information or personal informations we will ensure to use encrypted forms for the proper type of overall security.
