Manage the Dropdown element's option from a different form

Sehr geehrtes Jotform-Support-Team,

wir nutzen Jotform für die Zeiterfassung unserer Mitarbeiter und sind mit der Funktionalität und Benutzerfreundlichkeit sehr zufrieden. Aktuell verwenden wir ein Formular, welches unter folgendem Link zu finden ist: [Zeiterfassungsformular](https://eu.jotform.com/build/240281584738059).

Wir stehen jedoch vor einer Herausforderung, bei der wir Ihre Unterstützung benötigen. In unserem Formular gibt es ein Feld namens "Name BV", in dem die Nutzer derzeit Freitext eingeben können. Wir möchten dieses Feld in eine Dropdown-Liste umwandeln, um die Dateneingabe zu standardisieren und Fehler zu minimieren.

Unsere spezifische Anfrage ist, ob es möglich ist, die Werte dieser Dropdown-Liste durch ein separates Formular zu verwalten, das ausschließlich vom Geschäftsführer genutzt wird. Ideal wäre es, wenn der Geschäftsführer in der Lage wäre, Einträge in der Dropdown-Liste zu hinzuzufügen und zu löschen.

Now, let me help you with your question. Unfortunately, your requirement to manage the values of the specific Dropdown element through a separate form is not possible. You can change the options directly in the same Form Builder and there is no workaround for this. If you'd like, we can escalate it as a feature request to our Developer team, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it.

Thanks for getting back to us. Please note that changing the options in a dropdown field frequently can affect the data on the previous submissions. This is why the feature to change the dropdown option from another form is also not available. Before we can submit a feature request escalation, could you please provide more details about the possible benefit of the feature and how it can help you with your internal process?
