Hopeful Host Studios: Artisans with studios in and around the Charlottesville area may apply to have their studio on the Tour with guest artisan(s). The Tour Planning Committee with determine host and artisan placement. If you wish to be a host studio for the Tour, please list your studio name and street address.

Hopeful Hosts: How many vehicles can you safely accommodate?

Hopeful Hosts: Share with us how many guest artisans you can host, space available to each, and any specific requirements you may have for your guest(s).

Hopeful Hosts: Please provide directions to your studio from Charlottesville as a starting point. Example: "From Rte 250 east of Free Bridge, take Rte 20N. Then go 4 miles, and turn right on Lonesome Mt. Rd. (Rte 610). Go 1.25 miles to mailbox 3226 on left. Park there or down driveway at studio."

Hopeful Hosts: For the brochure, should we include any accessibility information for your location. For example: ADA Compliant entrance and bathrooms, or No Stair Entrance, etc.

Each artisan will be represented in promotional materials by one signature image of their choice. Images on the Tour brochure and website appear fairly small, but our print ads, as well as various media publications, often call for larger images. High quality images are an important part of the promotion of the Tour.

All artisans should send a total of THREE images (no more) of representative work. Please make sure that all file names include your last name and first initial. For example: BrownT1 (etc) ALSO - Please note which image you’d like used as your signature image. If you do not choose, we will choose for you.

We also request that you share images of your studio, you at work, interactive images, etc. for social media and publicity materials including the brochure. Please label them with your last name and first initial and use the word publicity. For example BrownTpublicity1 (etc.)

All images must be high resolution, with a minimum 300dpi at print size of 4x6.

The Tour is planned and operated through a cooperative effort of the exhibiting artisans. All artisans must pitch in to make it succeed. It is funded by artisan fees and by artisan solicited sponsors. Three planning meetings are held in Charlottesville for those who can attend. General Tour communication is done online through Groups.io. Artisans must join Groups.io to stay abreast of Tour information and to participate in decision-making. Tech help is available.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS*

During the Tour all artisans will provide a visual illustration or demonstration of their process.I acknowledge I must submit payment of $400 by June 2nd, 2024.I agree to be available by phone or email for questions that may arise.I agree to be present and display my work during both days of the Tour.In July I agree to share my mailing list for Studio Tour purposes only, using an Excel template that will be provided at a later date.

Volunteer Work: All Participating Artisans are expected to volunteer in some way.*

I understand my participation form is not considered complete until my payment is received.
