Jotform is thrilled to kick off 2024 with an exciting announcement that’s bound to transform the way you approach form building: Jotform Academy! 

What better way to start a new year than by resolving to increase your productivity? And what better way to increase productivity than by mastering the essentials of Jotform, including designing, sharing, and managing your forms and form data?

What is Jotform Academy?

Whether you’re brand-new to Jotform or an experienced user who wants a refresher, Jotform Academy is your ticket to understanding everything Jotform has to offer. Academy features video-based courses that guide you through our suite of products and tools. The videos include plenty of examples for reference, transcripts, quizzes, and links to related resources.

Like many SaaS companies, we’ve recognized that our users need comprehensive product resources — especially when it comes to getting started. We began developing course content about a year ago with the plan to offer Jotform courses and certifications that help you quickly and easily develop and demonstrate deep product knowledge.

What you can expect from our courses 

We’re launching Jotform Academy with three inaugural courses: Introduction to Jotform, Introduction to Form Building, and Introduction to Data Management. Together these courses make up our Jotform Foundations Certification.

These courses aren’t just about getting started; they’re about fully understanding how to build a form customized to your needs, doing it quickly and efficiently, and knowing that the form itself is just one piece of the puzzle.

Introduction to Jotform

Learn the value of Jotform, see an overview of all of the products and features, and understand the different types of accounts available. Here you’ll learn to

• Confidently navigate within Jotform
• Explain the function of each of our products
• Choose the best plan for you, based on your needs

When you complete this course you’ll receive an Introduction to Jotform badge.

Introduction to Form Building

This course shows you how to craft forms that are aligned with your brand, integrated with your favorite platforms (including payment gateways!), and easy for your users to complete. You’ll also learn how to

• Customize emails and thank you pages
• Add conditional logic to your forms
• Share your forms in a variety of ways

When you complete this course, you’ll receive an Introduction to Form Building badge.

Introduction to Data Management

Most of the time forms are just the start of a workflow that includes acting on the data you collect through the form. In this course, you’ll learn how to

• Access, export, respond to, and comment on individual responses
• Manage and analyze response data as a whole
• Gain insight into the way your users interact with your form

When you complete this course, you’ll receive an Introduction to Data Management badge. 

How do I become Jotform certified?  

Once you complete all three courses and pass all of the quizzes, you’ll earn a certificate in Jotform Foundations. You can share this certificate on LinkedIn and anywhere else you’d like. Show off the new skills you’ve picked up, and demonstrate your Jotform expertise to potential clients or employers.

Getting started

To begin, just go to jotform.com/academy, log into your account, and push play on your first video. If you don’t already have a Jotform account, you can create one for free.

If you have to take a break, you’ll be able to pick back up where you left off just by logging into Academy again. When logged in you’ll also be able to access your badges and certificates at any time, check out other courses, leave feedback, and request new courses for Jotform Academy.
