Making a product tax exempt

Is there a way to allow customers (maybe with a code) to purchase items as tax exempt? This only happens in less than 5% of our transactions, but it would be nice to offer it to our customers.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can exempt tax on a product in the Product List tool. You can do this in Product List Settings where you'll see the Exempted Products under the Tax tab. Here's a sample screenshot:
