Hello Jotform team,
Some of our legal documents require the signature by a 'witness' confirming that the person signing the main contract was seen making the signature. Does Jotform provide this functionality and if so where can I find it?
Thank you! I look forward to hearing back from you soon.
Regards,
Lavinia

Dear Lavinia,
Jotform provides to the users signature functionality.
Please find related user guide link below:
https://www.jotform.com/blog/70-Announcing-E-Signatures-for-Forms
Also, Jotform has a widget for e-signature. Please find related link below:

If you have any further assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.
Thank you.

Hello Candy,
Thank you very much. This is helpful albeit I was actually looking for a witnessing signature functionality, i.e. a functionality that would allow us to collect a witness' signature alongside the signature of the person who is contracting with us. Do you know if Jotfrom offers that functionality?
Have a good day.
Best,
Lavinia

Hi,
I was actually looking for a witnessing signature functionality, i.e. a functionality that would allow us to collect a witness' signature alongside the signature of the person who is contracting with us
Can you please provide more clarity how the witnessing signature functionality works?
You can also use 2 signature on the form.. I assume 1 for the witness and 1 for the one signing a contract. Are you not able to do this?
Just to let you know as well, our E-signature feature is also legally binding. So you can actually use it on legal purposes.
We'll wait for your response.
Thanks.
