I'm having trouble getting my information to transfer to insightly. I have set up custom fields in insightly and matched them to a jotform, but it is only transferring the name of the filed and not the submitted information For example, If we have a multi line text field called "lesson Notes" it is just pulling that phrase over but not the text that was submitted in that field.

Please refer also to our user guide for Insightly here :
https://www.jotform.com/help/380-How-to-Integrate-your-form-with-Insightly-CRM
I have a hunch that the issue was probably due to the Text field "lesson note" having a different field group vs the custom field you created in Insigthly.
Please check the guide from Insightly also here:
https://support.insight.ly/hc/en-us/articles/204061084-How-to-create-a-custom-field
Hope this help. Let us know if this did not resolve the issue.
Thanks.

What do you mean? The name of the field in each program has to be exactly the same or is it something else? I keep reading those same instructions for a week and am obviously missing something.

Hi,
Check also the Insightly user guide: https://support.insight.ly/hc/en-us/articles/204061084-How-to-create-a-custom-field
I see in your form https://www.jotform.us/form/62418376654160 that the field "Lesson Notes" is a TextArea field (a multi line type of field).
If you created a custom field in Insightly, the field group should be Multi-line text type.
Please check that option.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

Is there a way to have someone look specifically at what is going on in my insightly and jotforms and help?

I have created a custom field in Insightly and named it "Lesson Notes".
Then, I have integrated a clone version of your form to my Insightly Account.
I submitted the form and was able to see the text in Insightly custom field that's associated with the text area "Lesson Notes" in the form.
Can you check how your custom field is added, please? Make sure you have not placed any "Default Value" in it?

Apologies for any inconvenience.
I hope it is okay if we ask for a screenshot of the issue you're having? Also, please include a screenshot of how your custom field "Lesson Notes" was saved.

Have you also tried reintegrating your Insightly account to your form? If not, please do try. Remove the integration first and add it back again.
We will wait for your response. Thank you.

I have tried removing the integration, clearing the cache and reintegrating. I also made the fields we wanted to integrate required. i actually thought I had it working for the lesson# and lesson notes field as it seemed to be working from my husbands phone, but now that we're home it doesn't seem fixed.I

So I just looked again and it seems that I did get it to work. After I fixed it someone submitted a form and the data transferred, but it didn't fix previous submissions and sync them with Insightly. Maybe that isn't possible... Also,
it seems that each time we have a person fill out new form, as we have several forms we need filled out by each client, it creates a new contact in insightly for them so we are getting duplicate and triplicate contacts. -

You can try re-submitting the form again to trigger the integration. Then check if it gets added to your Insightly account.
You can re-submit the submissions using the EDIT button in the form submission panel.

The other question was about a different feature so I created a separate thread for it here https://www.jotform.com/answers/950037
We will attend to it shortly.
