OK!
There is a hidden field called "status", and it have a default value "NotHidden", but how can I turn this to "Hidden" only with the edit link?

You can use Calculation value condition logic to update the value of the "status" to "Hidden" when in edit mode using the edit link.
You will need to use another field that will act as the flag in the condition rule to trigger the change of value on the status.
Example:
While in Edit mode, you have a Radio option button with option Hide? Yes/No
If answer is Yes then update value of "status" equal to "Hidden"
Hope this help. Let us know if you are not able to follow my suggestion.
Thanks.

You can read the form URL by using the Get Form Page URL widget and setup a condition to change the option using this.
I have placed a radio button option on the form to change the option to "Hidden" from the default value "NotHidden".
And when the Get Form Page URL contains "edit" i.e., in edit mode, this radio button will be displayed.
Please see the demo form below:
https://form.jotform.com/62756212941961
I have changed the hidden field to normal text field and intentionally displaying on the form to see the change when the radio option is changed. You may hide this text field from the form.
Please feel free to clone the form to your account to see how it works. Please get back to us if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help.
