Hello Jotform. I too would like to see this feature. I mentioned in a previous post that "PROPER" is an old formula in Excel (if my memory serves...Excel is so 20th Century :) and Gsheets to allow proper capitalization. It would be really helpful in Jotform if that could be turned on so all data, no matter where it lands (spreadsheet, CRM etc. etc.) will look good. We too must do a lot of clean up of names since the Jotform data flows to our CRM which flows to Freshbooks which flows to our shipping software. Does not look good if it reads john doe... Thanks! Mark

I have created a feature request so that our developers might consider the implementation of this feature.
We will contact you via this thread if they decide on its implementation, but until now it was not a high priority feature.
In the meantime you can download the Excel submissions list and use this trick to automatically capitalize first letter:
Or use this trick for your Google Spreadsheet:

Let us know if we can assist you further.

watchhelpReplied on June 22, 2016 at 11:45 AMThanks for the idea...however getting the data from Gsheets to our CRM is
not so simple. That would require Zapier which then has a delay. I would
like the data to flow instantly from Jotform to our CRM. Thanks for the
suggestion though.
What about using Code Editor by JotForm
would this widget allow code or a formula like the ones suggested in your
links for Excel or Gsheet to fix the capitalization issue within the form?
Thanks,
Mark

Unfortunately currently it is not possible to fix the capitalization inside of JotForm submission page. My colleague already created feature request.
For now you can only try with suggestions provided by my colleague.
