When I've test your form I am not able to reproduce the same issue that you’re having. You can solve that issue by adding ?nojump into the form URL as you see below:
https://www.jotform.com/61321931871453?nojump
At that time, it will work as expected. Here is how it works.
If you have any question or issues, please do not hesitate contacting us. We will be glad to assist you.

Yes what you sent is what's needed. Mine still jumps, but I'll work on
it.
Thanks for your help.

On behalf of my colleague Beril, you are most welcome. As suggested by my colleague, adding the ?nojump at the end of the URL will resolve the issue. Please note that the form collapse will still jump if the ?nojump is not at the end of the url, but it will not jump when ?nojump is added.
If you will embed the form to a webpage, you will need to make sure to add ?nojump at the embed url so that the form collapse will not jump on the page.
Here's a sample script embed code with ?nojump added:
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://form.jotform.com/jsform/61328442280956?nojump"></script>

I'm wondering, is there any chance of sending me a completed collapse
form, in the style I want, this time. This would save hours of learning
and doing and getting it wrong and then corrected.
I assume that you will produce this anyway.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

leslieradonReplied on May 12, 2016 at 10:44 PMHi,
You say to add the end of the URL. Which URL? And where do I add that to
the form?
Do I add it as text, as explained by Beryul?
I seem to be getting more confused as we go on.
Can you help?

The URL I am referring to would be the direct URL of your form. So for example if your form's URL is https://www.jotform.com/61321931871453, you can add ?nojump at the end of the URL of the form so that the collapse will not jump.
Here's a sample URL of your form where a ?nojump is added: https://www.jotform.com/61321931871453?nojump
As for your request, I believe it would be possible for us to style the form in the design you want. However I cannot assure that it will be exactly the same, as the sample provided and the form in jotform have different html elements. Please allow me some time to style the form and I will let you know on this thread once I have done so.

leslieradonReplied on May 12, 2016 at 11:44 PMHi,
I can see this insturction to add a URL, but my copy of Jotform does not
look like that and I can't see any form tools.
When I open text. I can add text but can't see any place to 'link URL'
In this case, is it possible to let me have a form that works, without
the faults; jumping, etc. and of the same colors, So I can edit the text
to get on with other forms??
Any help will be appreciated.

leslieradonReplied on May 12, 2016 at 11:44 PMHi Chriistian,
Thanks for your quick reply to me. I've just realised you spell your
name with 2 i's, that's so great.
I totally agree with you and thank you for making up a 'finished' sample
for me to edit. That is such a relief.
I think I added a URL before but now I don't know how to add the ?nojump
part. Where/how to do that? I have looked everywhere but can't see a
place where I can edit the url. When I looked at the USER GUIDE there's
nothing and when I looked in the forum, nothing again. Eventually I find
some advice but what's is shown is maybe an old program and the names of
the edit items have changed. I don't have EDIT TOOLS for example.
I'm sorry to be so slow. I thought I was a smartish guy but maybe I am
not.
Thanks again, I will be waiting for your form (like the upad site
thing).
Cheers,
Leslie Radon

Unfortunately there is no option in the form builder to disable the jump on the form collapse. You will need to add ?nojump on the browser to view the form without the jump. I see that you will embed the form to a webpage. In that case, you can use the iFrame code below to embed the form to your website.
I have added the ?nojump at the url of the iFrame code below, so the user will not need enter ?nojump in the browser.
<iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onDISABLEDload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="https://form.jotform.com/61329310118951?nojump" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:917px; border:none;" scrolling="no"> </iframe>
As for the style of the form, you can check out this demo form that I styled to look quite similar to your sample. Simply clone it to your account to modify it further.
https://form.jotform.com/61329310118951?nojump
Hope this helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

leslieradonReplied on May 13, 2016 at 12:44 AMHi,
Thanks.
I now understand that to add to an url this has to be done in the iframe
which is in Publish.
Thanks for the sample. I will add that and edit.
Many thanks Chriistian,

You are most welcome. That is correct, you can add ?nojump at the url of the iFrame so that the form does not jump when the form collapse is opened.
If you have any other concerns, feel free to contact us again.
Cheers.
