I have a three column grid report and want to adjust the third column to be wider than the other two. I have tried every method including the above but none work and have now run out of ideas.

Can you try if checking the "Auto-Fit Grid report to window." option would solve the issue?
You may want to try to re-embed the Grid report to your website after doing so.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you need any further assistance. Thank you.

Tried that, it just spreads the three columns evenly, compacting the data in the third column and giving unnecessary space to the first two.

Hi,
I tried to change the width even with custom CSS codes, but I was unable to do it, I checked the current width and it's the same for all the cells, the only way to increase the width and display properly your data would be increasing the container's width, in order to show all the data in the grid.

Hi,
It is gratifying to find that someone better than me has failed with custom CSS, but annoying that but for this simple adjustment it would be perfect. I shall set the report to open full screen for now. As there seem to be several requests similar to this could it be passed to the development team for them to have a look at. Incidentally the Table Report does appear to adjust the column width to fit the data

I believe the reason why CSS would not be applicable for the Grid Report is because it can only be embedded as an iFrame. However, I have forwarded your request to our developers so they can take a look at it. You will be notified via this thread for any updates if there are any. I'm sorry if I cannot provide you any specific time to when it will be available.
Thank you.

Thanks.
I notice changing the row height on the report set up reflects in the code as below for column 4:
<td class="x-grid3-col x-grid3-cell x-grid3-td-4 " tabindex="0" style="width:166px;">
<div class="x-grid3-cell-inner x-grid3-col-4" unselectable="on" style="max-height: 150px;">XXXX</div>So evidently changes are possible at the set up screen so I am hopeful!Thanks again. -
