I have noticed that when we receive donations, the Authorize app within Jotform allows for a description that passes on the Merchant Email Receipt that is generated by Authorize once a payment clears.
Option within Authorize app preferences:
Field is passed on to Authorize.net and used for it's receipts:
However, no such option is present for Selling Products under Authorize preferences. Can we achieve this any other way? We have customized the Jotform-generated notifier but require the Authorize-generated confirmation customized as well to be able to separate ticket sales receipts from our donations receipts.

Well, payment purpose for donation is there to indicate for what they are making the payment since if you sell products or subscriptions, the payment would be shown differently - having the products / subscriptions and their prices listed out making the customer clear about the payment.
On the other hand if they get back to the payment few weeks later and only see a payment made to a certain amount, without any details, they might think that they did not make the payment and dispute it.
Now even if it is not available directly, you could take a full source code of your form and modify it to include that info as well - but this change would need to be re-added to the forms source code each time you modify the form since you would not be able to re-upload the form to the Form Builder.
