Hi
Thanks for a great system (I am a paying customer).
Problem is, that big part of (or maybe all) of my autoresponders sent to clients who fill the forms - go straight to their SPAM folder.
I cannot ask them to whitelist us because I don't know them before they fill the form.
Here are the form settings.
What can I do??
Thanks
Tal

Hi Tal,
I noticed that you are now using noreply@formresponse.com instead of noreply@jotform.com. If the issue persists, then the best option would be to setup an SMTP to your forms. We have to methods:
1. SMTP from your hosting provider: http://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form.
2. SMTP from Mandrill: http://www.jotform.com/help/236-How-to-use-Mandrill-to-Send-Emails-From-Your-Own-Email-Address.
In most cases, these two should help. If not ,please let us know so we can investigate further.
Thanks

Hi
Thanks for your answer.
I have tried @noreply, @formresponse, and my own SMTP using Mandrill.
Still the same problem - I get phones from clients who are looking for the autoresponders, and it's usually in the Spam folder...
What's next?
Thanks again
Tal

Hello Tal,
I've tried submitting one of your JotForm and I've received it to my inbox.
I've also tried cloning another form to see if it was the issue with the form. However, I've received it to my inbox as well. Generally, using SMTP or Mandrill should work when we see any issue with email delivery using JotForm email addresses.
Could you try setting up SMTP/Mandrill using another email address like gmail address instead of your domain email address? Please get back to us if the issue still persists. We will be happy to look into this further.

Hello again
I have tried using SMTP with Mandrill (using with my domains, I don't want to use GMAIL in my business emails...)
Still many goes to SPAM.
I regularly send many emails with Getresponse and others using my domain emails and it doesn't arrive to the SPAM usually, so the problem is (as I understand) - with Jotform.
What can I do before quitting (very sadly) from using Jotform?
Many thanks
Tal

Kindly try setting up an SMTP with your email without using the mandrill approach
http://www.jotform.com/help/244-How-to-Setup-SMTP-for-a-Form
Usually the issue lies with the client spam settings on their servers especially on custom domains

Hi Sammy
Thanks... but it is not clear to me - Mandrill is my SMTP service provider, so how can I use SMTP without Mandrill?
Should I use another SMTP service (why? the cause of the problem isn't Mandrill as I understand it, it's Jotform, am I right?)

Thanks Shadae
But - this article you have sent me to ask me to provide MY SMTP details.
My SMTP is Mandrill, and as you can see earlier in this thread - I have already tried that with no success.
Am I wrong?
Tal
P.S.
I use Mandrill to send all my emails, non goes to SPAM, only those from my Jotform autoresponders (using Mandrill and without mandrill)

It is quite odd that all your autoresponders would go to spam no matter the domain. I tried a cloned version of your form and the autoresponder came through to my inbox without issue from the jotform and formresponse domains.
The notifications sent via your SMTP should be filtered the same as they are sending regular emails from that account. It is very odd that they are filtered when triggered from your form, rather than from the account itself.
The only other thing I can think of would be that some of the contents of your autoresponder may be being flagged as spam or triggering filters. The only other thing I can recommend would be to try a gmail address or something of the sort. Since that is not an option, I am not sure there is anything we can do to prevent other services from filtering your autoresponder.
