For instance, If 1 question is asking if they have kids and the next questions is asking the age of the kids they have. Is there a way to program the survey to skip the ages of the kids if a no response is selected for having kids?

From what I understand, it looks like you want to hide/show some set of questions (age of kids in your example) depending on the answer to a previous question. That is quite possible with JotForm's Smart Forms Using Conditional Logic.
Using conditional logic on your form, you will be able to hide/show fields as shown in the image below.
