Hi,
You can use the following widget to control your product inventory:
http://widgets.jotform.com/widget/inventory
Then you can pass the total to the payment field by following the steps here: http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field.
Let us know if you need further assistance.
Thanks

This doesn't work because once you click the "donation/custom amount" there is no "get amount from" field. It is only "suggested donation."
Please fix this. Its incredibly inconvenient. I've been trying to figure this out for the past two days.
Gaaaah.

You need to calculate the widget first before you can pass the total. Here's how to perform a calculation in the form:

I would suggest cloning the widget demo form so you can see how the widget is calculated. Here's the demo form: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/51413853223953.
Here's how to clone a form: http://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL.

That is awful complicated for something that seems so simple.
I'm sure it isn't, but that is the only reason that I won't be using JotForm for my upcoming project.
It seems silly to have to download two additional widgets and add them to the form, creating multiple redundant fields to fill out.
Thanks anyway.
