Sirs
We are asking clients to enter certain data, however based on that data we would like to have a Drop down selection that displays that data. This is all in the same form!
For example if they entered 4 properties and their postcodes
2101
2045
4077
6799
We would like a drop down that would take that entered data and display it for choosing
Please choose the postcode this information relates to -
--Please Select--
2101
2045
4077
6799Is this possible?

Hello JohnSSmith,
If I am not mistaken, you would like a field that will allow your users to enter a value and automatically store what was entered in that same field as a drop down menu item selection. If this is correct, I am afraid this feature is not available within Jotform and you would have to modify the source code of the form to add that feature.
What I could recommend is using the User Contributed Dropdown that will allow your users to manually add options to the drop down list if their desired option it is not available.
Here is a demo form with this field added:
http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50333682790962
Once you add this widget to the form, you can outline all you possible options and if the user does not see an option suitable to them, they can manually add the option to the drop done list.
I hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if further assistance is needed,
Cheers!

Sean
Thank you
Yes you are correct on what I want to do, however the other solution won't work, although that's handy to know.
Its a pity, considering your form allows someone to come back at a later time and finish their entry. Therefore the data is there.
Anyway thank you again.
John
