    Hi Larry,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. If you want to see the number of availability in each item or you want to limit the quantity of each of your items, then this is possible by using the Inventory widget or Gift Registry widget. These widgets allow you to enter the number of your stock, then automatically block the users from selecting once the items are sold out. Let me show you how to set up the Inventory widget:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Add Form Element + menu on the left side of the page.
    • Under the Widgets tab, type Inventory in the Search Bar and add it to your form.

    • In the Widget Settings window, enter a Description of the item and then set an appropriate quantity in the Available Quantity section. That's it.

If that’s not exactly what you’re looking for, can you explain a bit more so I can help you better?

Give it a try and let us know if you have any other questions.

Yes, I understand how to add the inventory widget and set the initial quantity on items. But once the form is published and people start to consume/purchase items, how do I see how many items are remaining, especially for a form with multiple items and initial quantities? For that matter, is there a way to see a tabulated report of items sold vs items remaining?

    Hi Larry,

Thanks for getting back to us and for explaining more about the inquiry. For Inventory widget, you can see the renaming places easily on the form once people start signing up. The Inventory widget automatically update the renaming places on the form. See the screenshot below of my results after consuming 2 places out of 10:

Alternatively, you can check the Submission Table to see how many spaces have been occupied for the Inventory widget on the form:

Thank you Rahul. This is helpful. Other than going through each form response one by one, is there a way to see who ordered what item in aggregate?

    Hi Larry,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can see the item labels in Inventory Widget. The labels are set to hide as default for calculation purposes. Let me show you how to enable labels in the widget:

    • In Form Builder, click on the Inventory Widget.
    • Click on the Wand icon to open up Widget Settings.
    • Scroll down to the bottom and set Submit Value with Labes as Yes.

The selected Quantity of the item will be shown in the table after setting this option as Yes:
