How can I put the email and phone next to each other

Hi there, I tried to create a form, it typically presents in your first screenshot in default.

You can try to adjust the form in "Setting" Section, it will be shown when you clicked on the field. Kindly consider to adjust the format at [General > Label Alignment] and [Advanced > Shrink] of the field to meet your requirements. There are screenshots for your reference:

Actually you can shrink your fields in the form according to advanced setting

1. Click on the field you need to shrink.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Select Advanced on the top right .
4. Turn Shrink ON.
5. You can manage fields next to each other.

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. It's easy to add two elements side by side. Let me show you how:

1 - In Form Builder, add the e-mail and phone number fields from the menu on the left side of the page.

2 - Next to the elements, click on the Gear icon.

3 - In the menu on the right side of the page, click on the Advanced tab.

4 - Toggle Shrink to the On position.
