I have an issue with the placeholder text overlapping the actual input field text - I think this is caused by the fact that Jotform does not allow editing of the placeholder text. In order to override this, I have used the label text and applied some changes to make it look and behave like placeholders. Unfortunately, I don't have further control over these labels, once any text is typed into the input fields.
Can you help?

Hi Ornella,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. On preview and live mode, the placeholders are place inside the fields. However, if those labels that act like placeholders are causing issues in the backend, we actually allow putting placeholders. To do this, just simply click on the gear icon on the field, click on Advanced and you'll see a field to put the placeholder as shown below:
If those labels are added via CSS, you can go ahead and remove them and just use the option available on the Advanced setting on each fields.
Let us know if you need more help.
