Integrating Stripe payments with WordPress website

Hello. I've recently built a website for a local Chamber of Commerce. They have 2 membership levels (depending on business size), and I installed Paid Member Subscriptions plugin from Cozmoslabs.com (free version). Free version doesn't offer Stripe integration within the plugin. I've never done this kind of work and not sure how I could integrate online payment solution. Could you please advise? Can I use your form to pay for the annual membership when someone joins? I've included the link for the page I need to be redirected to online payments.

    Regards,

    Lucia

    Hi Lucia,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. I went through the website you shared with us. Everything appears to be in working order. Would you mind sharing the URL of your cloned form with us so that we can conduct a more thorough investigation and find a solution?

HI Waqas, there's no payment form on the website. I thought they would use an external gateway payment provider, so when someone joins they are redirected to the external page to pay. But the Chamber is still in the process of registering as limited company, and it's taking ages. The payment gateway solution firm said they would need a limited company account to have with them. So I was told not to wait and integrate Stripe payments instead, But I'm not sure how.

    Hi Lucia,

Thanks for getting back to us. You can create a form with the Stripe Payment integration to collect payments from your clients and then you can embed this form directly on your website this way they can fill it out and make payments directly onto your site. You can follow this guide on how to integrate Stripe to your form.

Let us know if you have any questions.

    Hi Harvey,

Me and the Chair of Redbridge Chamber were on Zoom this morning trying to integrate Stripe with the form. The form was created by me, with my email address, but the Stripe account was created by Michael, the Chair of RCC. He logged into the Jotform with my credentials while on zoom and sharing his screen, then when he tried to connect Stripe, it didn't work, he got the message "You are not allowed to make this request". Is the because the form and Stripe have different account holders? I need to integrate Stripe onto the Chamber's website, and trying to find the way to do that. Could you please advise how to go about it?

    Regards,

    Lucia

    Hello Lucia,

There should not be an issue connecting the Chamber's stripe account on your form.

Please ensure that you change the mode on the Stripe payment field on the form to Live mode and ensure that Stripe test account credentials are not used to connect to the form.

Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Girish, thank you for your email. That was probably the case we couldn't connect as Mode was set to Test Mode and I didn;t even notice! We will try again later, I sent an email with instructions to my client to do that.

    Hello Support,

I've embedded the payment form on my client's website. I'm just worrying whether it's secure enough for businesses to submit their credit cards details in the form? Please let me know.

    Regards,

    Lucia
