Fill in the blank field: Add more options to format the paragraph properly.

    Hey,

The fill in blank property has many bugs around formatting. Indents never stay, spacing never stays. Below is an example.

First picture shows the correct formatting with indents. Second one shows what happens when you leave the form and come back, it just erases formatting. Does this with spacing as well.

Any chance of getting these bugs worked out???

    Hi,

Are you trying to copy and paste the text to the Paragraph field? If yes, I suggest pasting the text on a Notepad before copying it again and paste to the form.

I also noticed that you're using the Fill in the Blank field. Unfortunately, there is no option to format it like the Paragraph field. I recommend using the Paragraph field. Please try it and let us know if you need further help. Thank you!

Okay, luckily most of the formatting I needed wasn't in the areas with fill in the blank, so yes I used to paragraph field instead. But if it's not possible to format fill in the blank with indents and such, then Jotform should remove it. That's extremely confusing for the user. Tools are there and work for the moment, but then resets later. Not a great user experience, considering it's been driving me crazy for days.

    Hi Sean_Conroy_seanconroy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Unfortunately, the feature you're looking for isn't available at the Fill in the Blanks field right now. I've gone ahead and escalated this ticket as a feature request to our developers, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
