Missing Options in Dropdown List

    WE EDIT A FORM AND IT IS NOT SHOWING ALL THE OPTIONS


    I HAVE MULTIPLE STORES LISTED AND WAS ABLE TO USE THE DROPDOWN LIST TO SELECT A STORE FROM THE LIST AND NOW WE CAN ONLY SEE TWO STORES AND NOT THE ENTIRE LIST TO PICK THE STORE.

    Hello Bullard_Wayne,

    We don't offer phone support, sorry. We'll address your concern on this thread.

    I've checked your form and you only listed two options in your Store Dropdown field.

    Please check your Form Revision History and see if you're able to find any changes to the Dropdown field. You can also try to revert back those changes in there. If you're not able to revert back, then I'm afraid you'll have to manually add those stores again.

    I understand where you're coming from. However, since the only options you currently see in the Dropdown are two options, then you can check the Revision History. If it's not there or the Revision History won't revert back, then you will need to manually add them all again.

    To add, if you added the list stores again and it will not save, I suggest cloning the form and use the cloned form instead. Please see our guide on this page on how you can clone your form.

    We attempted that and it never worked.
    It only would show the two options and never show any additional options.
    It is broken or someone needs to come in on a live call to review it real
    time so we see the issue. The fact that we did not remove any stores and we
    were seeing all stores until about noon or so today before all disappeared
    from the Form and when I checked the edit version I could see all stores
    listed tells me something else was wrong.
    Let's circle up on Monday as we created a duplicate that seems to be
    working but I don't know what caused the other issues so we cannot trust if
    this will work more than a few days.

    We did so as a band-aid but it does not address why all the stores showed
    in one list and worked fine for several days then suddenly only two showed
    in the drop down menu. This is the issue. No one removed the stores when
    the problem occurred so something within JotForm happened without anyone
    here doing anything until it was a problem. At that point you will see
    activity trying to fix it but to no avail until the cloning. I don't know
    how long the clone will work and now my data is split between two forms.

    Hello Wayne,

    I don't see any submissions yet on your original form, so the data being divided wouldn't be an issue if you'll just use the cloned form. Also note that we don't allow script editing inside the form. Having said that, please don't put "<>" symbols on your Dropdown options, as the system might read that as script codes and would lead to the options being removed. And the Dropdown field is limited to 65385 characters (including spaces), so please stay within that limit.
