Prefill data - if user enters email - query salesforce contact and pull account details

Can you have one form submit to another form?

I want a user to fill out their email on one form, then I send that email via URL to the next form where Salesforce uses that email to look up a contact and prefill the rest of the information.

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. It is possible for you to prefill your form from Salesforce, however I just to make sure that we understand this properly. You will have two forms in this scenario, Form1 is where your responder will fill out with their email from Salesforce and Form2 is where you want the prepopulated data to show base on the email they entered from the first form. Is this right ?

Unfortunately, we don't have this functionality yet. Although, it is possible for you to pass data from one form to another but this won't work yet if you use the field to look up from external app like Salesforce yet. I will submit a feature request to make this possible in the future updates.

We have some great news for you. You can try out the new and improved version of our Salesforce Prefill feature, which is currently in beta. Based on your feedback, we believe you’ll find the enhancements particularly beneficial.

To get started, in the Form Builder go to Publish tab at the top. Then, go to Prefill on the left and select Salesforce Live Prefill.

Authenticate or choose your account, and proceed with other settings.
