Is it possible to fill in a response dynamically by user from another table or form or external google sheet based on a user's entered response?
The question is not how to pre-fill the form, but rather how to use one entry as an index into another table as a lookup during the process of filling out the form.
Use case is that we have a table of dogs, their akc number, owner info, etc .. I would like to have user enter the akc number then use that as an index pointer into the external table to fill in fields of the form. Basic database or spreadsheet lookup function.
Can Jotform handle that natively? How?

Hello Gangcoursing,
Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. While checking in your concern, you can enable to do that by creating a Lookup table to add a connection between the tables. Simply follow the steps below to better understand:
- Please open MY FORM
- Click on your Form where you want to connect then click submission.
3. Next is click the ADD to view those columns you want to add.
4 . Click on CONNECTION to connect the form or a table.
5 . Then click on FORMULA where you can add Lookup to connect the tables.
