You used to be able to pass a value from section to section using the calculate option, the wizard doesn;t seem to allow that. Is there another way to do this?
Example:Name field passed from section to section.
Thanks!

Hi,
You can do this using the Condition Logic feature of the form.
Guides:
1 -Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic
2. -How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form
In the Condition Wizard look for the option "Insert Text or Mathematical Calculation..."
To copy the value from a field to another field anywhere in the form.
Tthe condition can be like this
You can try my test form http://www.jotform.me/form/41311591389456 how it works.
Hope this help. Inform us if you need further assistance.
Thanks!

You really should switch back to the way you had it before. Keep what you have now for true calculations but for name make it easy, create a drag and drop field

We just moved the Calculation as a Widget, to the widgets section. The calculation is still there but note that we have limits for fields that is allowed into the calculation results. The Mathematical Condition is an addition to our existing functions and it's useful for optional calculation process.
That should be working anyway. What is the form URL in question? Here's maybe what you've missed wit the calculation.
Before adding the field to the formula section, make sure to check the " Insert field as text instead of numeric. " option.
Click "Advance Options"
Check the option mentioned above:
I hope that helps. Here's an example form: http://www.jotform.me/form/41334100953444
