Hi JotForm,
Is it possible to send a client a notification email to complete an incomplete form (automatically)?
We find that some people will half fill out a form then stop and forget to fill out the rest. Is it possible to send them an email reminding them to complete it?
Thank you,
Travis -

Dear Transcend_Media,
Thank you for your email.
It is possible to send your customers an email reminder to finish filling out the form. Please follow the following steps.
- Go on to your form and click on the PUBLISH section.
- Then on the left hand side please select the EMAILS
- Finally click on SCHEDULE A REMINDER EMAIL
- You are then able to customise the email reminder email, determine which email address it goes to and schedule
Please view this help centre guide for further assistance - https://www.jotform.com/help/541-how-to-set-reminder-emails-for-your-forms/
If you have any further questions please let us know.
Kind regards,
Francis

Thank you Francis,
It appears that the email reminders only works on the original form and not the pre-filled form, is that correct?
The workflow I'm trying to create is:
- Create pre-filled form
- Send that pre-filled form to client to complete and submit
- Have a daily email reminder asking them to complete that specific pre-filled form. (so the email reminder needs to haver a link to that pre-filled form)
Is a work-around that I need to insert the pre-filled form link in the reminder email?
Also can you confirm that once the form is completed, the reminder emails will stop? I assume this is the case as it's logical but I can't find anywhere that confirms this.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Jesse -

Hello Jesse,
Since it is not possible to configure reminder emails to the user while they are using the Save and continue feature so we can suggest you a workaround to this.
# You can let the user fill the first page of the form and submit the form.
# Once the user submits the form you can send them the edit link of the form to let them fill the other pages of the form.
https://www.jotform.com/help/40-how-to-let-users-update-their-form-submissions-at-a-later-date/
# You can configure Send later emails. Once the user submits this will activate the send later emails which will be sent to the user based on the number of days you have configured.
https://www.jotform.com/help/535-send-emails-later-using-autoresponder-email/
Another way around is that you can assign the forms to the user and set up reminder emails to remind them to fill out the form.

Let us know if you have any further queries.
Thanks.

Hi Ronneet
I was asking about the pre-filled form, not the save for later feature.
It appears that your response is a cut and paste from your help desk library.
This has not helped and is disappointing.

Jesse

Hi Jesse,
Apologies for the oversight on our end. Unfortunately, the reminder email option is currently not available for the prefilled forms.
The reminder option is currently available for the actual form only. I'm creating a feature request for your requirement. We can not give you any ETA at this time. If the feature is implemented then we will inform you here.
Thanks

Thank you Vick,
I appreciate the accurate response.
Yes it would be great if it gets implemented at some stage.
