I created a form from one of our existing pdf forms. When added all questions to the form. Some questions are not needed due to them not being applicable. I used a multiple-choice question field on my form that allows me to use a logic condition.
Depending on the answer chosen, certain following fields are hidden or shown for text input. I use this logic to hide those questions from the form, but this will leave the answer for that now hidden question spot blank on the pdf form when submitted.
I want the fields that will be hidden due to the conditional logic from the multiple-choice answer to populate with a default "N/A" text input if they are hidden.
It seems that if a field is hidden from the form due to a logic condition, there is no way to have the hidden field's default to a certain text input, rather than just being left blank.
Is this correct? Or can you hide a field but still have a default answer left on the pdf form.

Apologies, however, I am quite confused.
Do you need to populate a hidden field with "some" data from another form? Or just set it to N/A?
If you simply want the conditionally hidden field to retains it's value, then please go to your Settings tab and set Clear Hidden Field Values to Don't Clear as shown below.
