How can I prefill a date picker with the edit link?
I have a form that is submitted by a user, the form edit link is saved at an Airtable table. This form has a date picker that is hidden with the condition that the Get Page URL contains the value of edit.
At a later date, I go back to the edit link saved to Airtable and I manually input the hidden date picker and save this.
I tried to modify the edit link to prefill this hidden date picker from an Airtable date field but it is not working.
If I unhide the date picker and use the prefill parameters for the date picker, then it works, but it does not seem to work at all with an edit link.
I am using date[day]=, date[month]=, etc.

Hi,
thank you for reaching out to us.
I would recommend that you please try using our new Prefill function with the Manual option: https://www.jotform.com/prefill-forms/
Then you are able to pre-populate the hidden date field in advance and the input should appear with the edit link. I hope this helps, please let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you Anita. The date that I input is different for every submission and it's not known at the time of the user submitting.
Is there any way to pass this date variable through the url? This date is saved to the same Airtable table so I was thinking of building the edit url with a formula that would add the prefill variable to the edit link.

Please note that URL parameters don't work when editing submissions.
You can prefill a date field using prepopulated URL parameters upon initial filling out of the form but not during submission edits.
