    Hi, how are you?

I was wondering where the Scale Rating option has gone to?

I am in the middle of setting up a major survey for work and the Scale Rating options seems to have disappeared.

    Could you please assist?

    Thank you very much.

Hi, just to update you and hopefully it assist you with troubleshooting.

When I used a Jotform Template with Scale Rating, the Scale Rating appears without a problem.

The Scale Rating is also visible in Add Form Element Menu on the left.

However in my own form that I started the Scale Rating along with a few other elements do not appear on the Add Form Element Menu on the left.

Spinner for example is also not visible. Neither are the Page Elements - Divider, Section Collapse, Page Break.

I've signed out, signed in a few times and tried a bunch of stuff but no luck. Changed browsers, cleared cache, played with settings etc, etc. No luck :-(

However, I just worked something out.

If I use the All Questions on One Page then the Scale Rating appears on the Add Form Element Menu on the left.

If I use Single Questions Per Page, then the Scale Rating doesn't appear Add Form Element Menu on the left.

This is odd as I didn't have this problem a week or so ago.

Can you assist with enabling the Scale Rating being visible and being able to be used on Single Questions Per Page?

    Thanks 👍

    Greg

    Hi Greg,

In the Cards or Single question layout, the Scale rating option is not available. That is specifically available in the Multi question layout.

However, here are the options available in the Cards layout.

    Hi Vick

    Thanks for your reply 👍

Unfortunately I based my whole work presentation on being able to use the Scale Rating feature in the Cards Layout.

I'm not sure when this changed but when I first tested things out about 3-4 weeks ago I added in the Scale Rating in the Cards Layout with no issue.

One of the other main reasons was to be able to save the Survey as you go as it's a loooooong one.

I looked at all the other main survey apps and Jotform was the only one that had this feature that wasn't dependent on cookies.

I know it's not you who makes these calls but it kinda screwed me up. I've spent hours trying to find a solution and I'm running behind in my work schedule.

I very much doubt Jotform will bring back this feature in Cards Layout just for me but if you can maybe give feedback to the powers that be maybe they can reinstall this feature down the track.

It makes no sense to not include it in both the Single Page and the Cards Layout.

    Thanks again Vick ✔

    Greetings Greg.

    We apologize for the inconvenience.

You can try to use Emoji Slider. You will have the option to configure different types of inputs for this field:

An alternative solution would be to use the Classic form layout, but to add each question on a separate page:

You can also enable Auto Next that will automatically open the next page after the last dropdown or radio button is selected:

    Thanks Bojan_J

It doesn't really suit my needs to use the Classic Approach as I need the form to be Saved as in the Card Layout.

I seem to have another major problem now. I've tried to edit an Orderable List in Card Layout but it won't let me.

Adding a new Orderable List results in the same problem.

It seems to be similar to the problem with Scale Rating option in Card Layout.

ie when I click on the wizard icon the menu option on the right hand side doesn't load. It gets stuck trying to load indefinitely.

Is this a temporary glitch or is Orderable List getting phased out in Card Layout like the Scale Rating option?

    Thanks 👍
