How to have multiple items as donation amounts and payor customized amount

I am using Square payment processor and have set up multiple items (which are designated as donation amts.) in the payment settings.

I would also like to have within that an option to allow payor to customize an amount. Is there a way to do this along with having the other preset amounts?

Hi,

You can achieve this by using custom payment form using basic fields (i.e. Multiple Choice) + the payment field using User Defined Amount payment type.

I made a demo form base on this which you can test here https://form.jotform.com/203058034956052

I assigned calculation values to each options of the Multiple Choice field (Checkboxes)

I then added the hidden Calculation widget to get the calculation of total from the Checkboxes field.

And lastly, add the payment field. The payment type was set to User Defined Amount and the Get Price From was pointing to the Calculation widget in the form.

Something is still missing and not setting up properly.
In the GET PRICE FROM dropdown I don't have the calculation as in your
tutorial.
And when I tested of course it is isn't calculating.
What am I missing?

I checked your payment field and was able to see the calculation widget on the selection.

Meanwhile, kindly remove the dollar sign on your Multiple choice field's calculation values.

You added the wrong Donations field to the Form Calculation widget. Please remove the current Donations (#8) field from the Form calculation widget, add the Donations (#6) field, save the settings, and test the form again.

Omg I didn't change anything from the first person that gave me the
instructions on how to do it now you're the third and I'm still getting the
runaround on how to do it right.
God why is it so hard.
why is there such this lack of inconsistency on how to do it and what the
steps are.
And even better if you guys know how to do it you have access to my form
how about just do it And get it right because this is costing me hours and
hours of time waiting on all of you to respond and then somebody giving me
something different step every time.
I sure hope whoever leads customer service and tech support is reading this
message and realizes there's a lot of work to be done on the support side.

I don't think you understand the objective...
The section CHOOSE YOUR OWN DONATION AMOUNT is an amount to be determined
by the customer and that amount is to be ADDED to the total and populating
in calculated total below.

As I understand, you want to allow customers to choose from existing donation options and also have the option to put their own amount. Then, the total of selected and custom ones to be passed payment field.

Add the Number field where customers will put the desired amount (I will name it Choose your own Donation Amount):

And then change the name for Form Calculation widget to "Total" for instance and set the following calculation: selected ones + custom amount:
