Hi Gail,
Just to clarify, are you looking for a user to select an option on the form and then allow them to enter a specific ear tag number? Or to have a pre-filled one already there for each of the items on your form?

Thanks!

Hello Gail - Thanks for clarifying.
Perhaps you can add EarTag as a Product Option in each of your products. Please refer to the visual guide below:
Do review and let us know if you need further assistance.

I'm hosting a sheep show, so to check in we usually look at the tag number on the animal.
So basically, looking to add a box where they can enter a number and I can tie it to the entry.
Thanks!

Hi Gail,
Yes, this is possible you'll just need to switch around the current quantity and tag field options. So if you click on a product and then click to edit it:
Then scroll down and on what is currently the 'Quantity' option click to edit that:
Then on the window that loads where it currently has 'Dropdown' click that and change to 'Text box', and then update the Label to 'Ear Tag' (I also removed the default quantity):
Then on what is currently the 'Ear tag' option, click to edit that and then update that to be as follows (you can add more quantity options by adding in the numbers at the bottom):
And then you should have a product where they can add in the Ear Tag in a text box:
I think this is what you're looking for, let me know if you have any questions!

bigwoodsbabydollsReplied on August 10, 2020 at 12:28 PMI think I figured out the first part, but the second part is not looking the same on my side. Here is what I see:

Honestly, I'm about ready to throw in the towel and forget about it, taking WAY too much of my time to get it right. One more shot.
Thanks,
Gail
