It seems my jotform doesn't have a "Text" option. Is this an error or because I'm not on a premium plan?

Hi myrelotoolkit,
I have a Free Plan with JotForm and I believe there other diverse options for a Dropdown to use.
If you refer to the 'Dropdown' from the Form Elements>Basic, I can see a box on my form with a drop menu, like my image here attached.Have you tried to click on 'Edit Options' that appears below the box? If you click on it, you can see a list of options that can be easily edited as a text.
After you have inserted your options, remember to click on 'Save changes'.
There are also Free Widgets like 'User Contributed Droplines' (Form Elements>Widgets).
After you have click on it to add to your form, you can edit the text of the options from 'Widgets Settings' (click on the wand icon)
Check this: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/user-contributed-dropdown
You can also add a Free 'Dropdown with Paging', check this: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/dropdown-with-paging
I hope this would help. Let me know if you have sorted your issue.

Thanks for contacting us. You can use the paragraph field to add a text block to your form.
To add a text input field, you can either use the short text or Long text field.
Let us know should you need further assistance.
