We are getting an error when selecting payment for PayPal. I have attached a screenshot. Is there something I missed in my selection or is there a network issue?

I was able to replicate the issue.
Can you try to integrate with PayPal in Test mode first and see if the issue would still persist?
Disconnect it from Live for now and connect to Test Mode:
