I am trying to insert an image into a text written in CKEditor, but nothing happens. When I select the tool to insert an image, I get a popup to select an image, but once I do, the popup disappears and nothing happens.
Any ideas what could be happening?

I believe you are referring to the below field on your form, where you are trying to upload images:
If yes, I can see that the Image icon is not functioning on this widget.
I am able to replicate this issue at my end too. Let me escalate this to our back end team to check. Once there is an update, you will be notified via this thread.
Meanwhile, you can check out other text editors here: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/category/text-editor
You may also use an Image upload preview widget on the form: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/image-upload-preview

You are correct.
I also tried TinyMCE and the only way to insert an image seems to be to copy/paste it in. TinyMCE is also missing a bullet (unordered list).
I also tested Squire, but it seems it can only insert images based on a URL, not from a local drive. In addition, it does not have the option of ordered or unordered lists.
What I am after is an HTML editor that will allow the form user to enter rich text (using HTML in the background) and to insert images. The form I am building is to allow users to create new blog posts, so this is a key feature.
Any suggestions?
Christian

Hi again, Christian!
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have encountered.
Have you checked the "Paragraph" element shown below?
It offers:
1. Text formatting and customization.
2. Image upload.
3. HTML code insertion.
And more!
I hope I have been of any help.
Should you have any further inquiries, we will be more than happy to help. -

Oh, I apologize. I can see that what you're after is enabling respondent to edit text and upload image, not just view them.
"What I am after is an HTML editor that will allow the form user to enter rich text (using HTML in the background) and to insert images. The form I am building is to allow users to create new blog posts, so this is a key feature."
In this case, and since you've tried all text editors, unfortunately, there's no such widget/field that meets your requirements except the CKEditor for which a ticket has been already escalated to developers.
If you would like to, we can also raise a feature request to developers to implement a version of the "Paragraph" field, shown in my last response, for form respondent to use just like form owner in Build mode.
Your understanding is most appreciated.

Hi again, Christian!
I know, right? It's a bit unfortunate seeing such a powerful text editor used by just form owner and not respondent.
Kindly note that since this ticket has already been escalated, I've moved your feature request to another support ticket so it can be better addressed. You may navigate to it by clicking here.
Your understanding is most appreciated.
