Suspended Account: Exceeding 100 submissions

    Hello,

My account was suspended due to exceeding 100 submissions. The submissions were actually false submissions from someone and they were all done in one day. I’m not sure how or why that happened.  How can I please get my free account turned back on? Please help!

    Hello,

My account was suspended due to exceeding 100 submissions. The submissions were actually false submissions from someone and they were all done in the last few days. I’m not sure how or why that happened. How can I please get my free account turned back on? This happened a few years ago as well. Please help!

    Hi Kelly,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. As we checked if there is a spam attack, we don't see issue with your submissions. As you have a Free account, kindly be informed that you have exceeded your submission monthly limit, as there are 124 submissions received through your form while your account submission limit is only 100. Furthermore, account submission limit gets reset on the 1st day of every month.

Here is a guide about Understanding Your Account Usage and Limits.

    Hi Summer,

Thank you for responding. I understand about the submission allowance. I normally receive about 1 or 2 submissions a week. The submissions received in the last week or so are not normal. I personally give out my link for potential customers. I did not give out the link to the multiple people who falsely filled out the link within the last week. I don’t know where or how they got the link. The information they are submitting is not relevant to the form nor to my business. Could you please reset my allowance? I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thank you,

    Kelly Beimel

    Hi Kelly,

Please take note that a Public form is visible on the internet, which means that it can be searched through search engines such us Google and Bing. To prevent Spam submission from bots, as suggested by my colleague Summer, adding a Captcha form element will prevent this.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can help you with.

    Hi Christopher,

I do have a captcha in use on my form. Could you please reset my submissions? There is clearly something going on as over 100 submissions is clearly not normal for my link. They are false submissions. The last legitimate submission was on May 7 by Weston Crawford.

    Thank you,

    Kelly

    Hi Kelly,

Unfortunately, we cannot reset your limits. You can also add the SMS Confirmation or E-mail Validator widget to your form to avoid getting spam submissions. You may also consider upgrading your account to increase your limits.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.
