Hi,
Screen shot attached
I want a grid where someone clicks on major category for example "Baby Items" in the screen shot.
They can expand this category to show the sub categories in the "Baby Items" category. As per the screenshot that would be :
Baby Gear
Baby Toys
Feeding
Nursery Furniture & accessories
Ideally, if they pick a major category like "Baby Items" that will prevent them from clicking any subcategories under that (as they would be included in the major category)I
I would then like two forms to "talk to each other" one which is a that includes new products added every week. If the new product category = the selected categories from the customer then they would be notified.
Any ideas how this would be done would be appreciated

Is this what you are looking for? https://form.jotform.com/92574728183972
If that is correct, you may clone it in your account: https://www.jotform.com/help/42-How-to-Clone-an-Existing-Form-from-a-URL
I used the basic Dropdown and Input Table fields, and created conditions to show each based on the dropdown selections: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer
Hope this helps.

Hi, could you please tell me if my demo form would work for what you are looking for?
"So I can have multiple top level categories like “baby items” in one form?"
Yes, you can have as many categories as you want to:
And for each category, you will add their corresponding fields:
Which should appear on the form only if the category they belong to was selected: https://www.jotform.com/help/316-How-to-Show-or-Hide-Fields-Base-on-User-s-Answer
"Then the customer can submit the whole form?"
Yes, if the customer clicks on the submit button, all the information he filled will be submitted.
"Could they login with a password (or be directed to the form having already logged on elsewhere)"
Yes, you can password protect your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/579-How-to-Password-Protect-a-Form
"With each submission can it simply overwrite their existing “profile”?"
Could you please explain further? If you are wondering if a new submission will overwrite their existing one, that will not happen. If you need to allow them to edit their form submission at a later time, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/40-How-to-Let-Users-Update-Their-Form-Submissions-at-a-Later-Date
"Can I aggregate the data for example to show how many people want
New bottles with the other attributes they can select such as “5%”?"
Do you want to know how many people make an specific selection on each Input Table field? This is possible through the Visual Report: https://www.jotform.com/help/187-How-to-Create-a-Visual-Report-with-Your-Form-Submissions
Let us know if you need more help, we will be glad to assist you.

Hi again, we will be glad to assist you with your inquiries:
1) It is not possible to import the categories in the Dropdown field options from a spreadsheet, you need to manually type them.
2) You can use Section Collapses, and even create conditions to show all fields at once under a specific collapse, example: https://www.jotform.com/help/297-Show-or-Hide-Multiple-Fields-at-Once-Using-the-Section-Collapse-Field
Let us know if you have more questions.
