Common Ninja integration in Jotform

Hi there, I have a couple of questions.

    Question 1

I'm planning to use Jotform forms/apps with Common ninja in the short-term, as they offer a searchable system to find houses, jobs, hotel rooms and more. The only problem with this, is that I will have to manually upload the users details. However, Ninja's support did say I could do the following:

"Unfortunately, we do not offer direct support for API integration. However, we can provide access to our API for your use, and you can find your API key in your dashboard. Please note that implementing the API will require the appropriate technical expertise on your end".

Is this possible and if so, could you guide me on how I should do this.

    Question 2

However, ideally, I'm looking for some type of CRUD facility to work alongside Jotform. Do you have any integrations where I could do this, as I really want to keep Jotform's apps as it's super easy to use, but eventually want users to be able to upload/delete their own details.

    Thanks

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. You can create a program or an API so that you can connect your form to 3rd party web apps. You can check our API documentation.

Furthermore, you can also create an API key if you need to. Let me show you how to do it:

    1. In your My Form page, hover your mouse and click your Avatar.
    2. On the dropdown option click on Settings.
    3. Choose the API tab on the left side.
    4. Then click Create New Key.Common Ninja integration in Jotform Image 1 Screenshot 40
    5. Select your new API key’s name and enter your desired label.Common Ninja integration in Jotform Image 2 Screenshot 51
    6. Change your API key’s permission if needed.Common Ninja integration in Jotform Image 3 Screenshot 62

Here are the available permission options:

Read Access — Grant read-only permission to your data.
Full Access — Grant full access (i.e., add, edit, delete) to your data.

As for your other question, I've moved that to a new thread. You can check that out here.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Thanks for this. Please could you give me some more information, as I'm not technical.

I'm using Common Ninja alongside Jotform apps, as they have widgets, that are searchable. For example, one of the widgets is designed to work in the real estate sector. The data the house seller uploads, is searchable, such as location, price etc...

So is it possible for a house seller to upload their house details on Jotform, such as images, price, location, features and then use the API to populate all the house details on the common ninja widget?

I'm looking at creating 10+ apps with Jotform app/form and then using common ninja for the searchable element. Is this also possible?

    Thanks in advance

    Ian

    Hi Ian,

Unfortunately, the Common Ninja integration feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available at Jotform right now, we've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. Exactly when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we appreciate it.
