When I assign a form to someone and they open it, the form is not there. The attached screenshot shows what they see. I’m not sure if it matters but I am copying and pasting the link in an email. Can you please advise? Why assigned users cant see the form? Image 1 Screenshot 20

    Hi godogtraining,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Your users need to create a Jotform account first using the email you assigned. This way, Jotform can verify their identity before giving them access to the form. Meanwhile, the screenshot you've shared shows the user needs to log in to their account first before they can see the form. We also have a guide here that you can check to learn more about this.

Reach out again if you have any other questions.

Is this a new feature? My clients were always able to access and fill out
the form in the past without creating an account.

    Hi Phyllis,

Unfortunately, the Assign Form Feature is not a new feature. If your clients were able to access your form without requiring them to log in, it might be that you've shared your form with them using the public link. Take a look at the screenshot below:

I checked and I am currently sharing a public form but it’s still asking
    for a log-in.
I had no problem sharing the public form earlier in the week but all of a
sudden it no longer works. I copied and pasted the link from an email I
sent out earlier in the week (the one that worked correctly) and it takes
me directly to the form. I’m guessing I must have accidentally changed a
setting in the app. Is there something else that could be done?

    Hi Phyllis,

By using the Assigned feature, users are required to create a Jotform account to confirm their identity. I checked your form and found that this was the case, as you had added many emails using this feature. Though the form was also set to Public, it depends on which link the user opens—either the email sent to them using the Assign feature or the email you sent that contains the public link, which does not require them to create an account.

What you can do is send a follow-up email using your own email provider (not the Assign feature in Jotform) to clarify the issue and include the public link to the form again. You can then check the instructions given by Joeni to get the public link of the form.

Keep us updated and let us know if you need any more help.
