    Hi Chan Kin Hang,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand that you want to fix a link to allow your customer to download for every submission. There are two options that you can try. The first option is to display a download link to your Thank You page. The second option is by adding a download link to your autoresponder email. Let me show you how to do it:

To display a link on your Thank You page

    1. In the Form Builder, go to Settings at the top.
    2. Select Thank You Page on the left.
    3. Select Show a Thank You Page after submission.
    4. In the editor, use the link icon at the top to insert your file’s link.

To add a link to your autoresponder email

    1. In the Form Builder, go to Settings at the top.
    2. Select Emails on the left and edit your autoresponder.
    3. In the editor, use the link icon at the top to insert your file’s link.

    Hi Chan Kin Hang,

If you want to share a direct link to a PDF file with your users, you can use the following link given below:

    https://eu.jotform.com/server.php?action=getSubmissionPDF&sid={submissionID}&formID={formID}

You will need to change {submissionID} and {formID} with the submission you wish to allow them to download. Form ID is part of the form URL, and it has 15 numbers. Make sure you remove curly brackets as well and leave only the numbers for submission ID and form ID.

If this not what you're referring to, can you explain a bit more about what you're trying to achieve?

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

    Hi Chan Kin Hang,

Finding the Submission ID is really easy. Let me show you how:

    1. In your Jotform Tables, click the Columns button located on the right side of your page.
    2. In the dropdown, scroll down and select the Submission ID.
    3. Copy the Submission ID of those entries that didn't get through and sent to us.

Now, the form ID is the string numbers at the end of your Form URL. Let me show where to find it:

    1. In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Publish.

    2. In the menu opens on the right side of the page, click on Quick Share and copy the numbers under the Share With Link header. That's it.

And 3rd question. After the user submit the attachment in jotform, can we have a link for this specific attachment as well?

    Example

    FH40-Staff Information Applications (員工資料申請) (jotform.com)

After the user update the 2K. ID card into Jotform and submit, can it create a Link for this attachment?

    Hi Chan Kin Hang,

You can share your table link, but you need to set the table as public. Let me how you how:

    1. On the Jotform Tables page, click on the Share button on the top-right side of the page.

    2. Click on Share Settings and set your Table’s privacy options. It is set to Private Table as default, so only the people you invite will be able to see your Tables. You can also set the default role of the invitation link as either Read-Only, Commenter, or Collaborator. Let me explain the difference between those:

    • Read Only means that only people you invite will be able to see your Tables.
    • Commenter means that the people you invite will be able to view data and add comments.
    • Collaborator means that anyone you invite will be able to see and edit the data, but they won't be able to adjust or change the table settings.

    3. Now, click on Go back in the top-right corner of the panel and use the Generated Link or the Invite by Email feature to invite people.

You can also revoke the invite you sent to the people easily. Let me show you how:

    1. In your Tables, click on Share button to open Share Table.

    2. Now, click on the avatars/icons of the people you invited next to the Shared with section.

    3. Select the users that you want to revoke the access to by checking the boxes on the left, and click on Revoke.

    4. Then, click on the Yes, Delete. That’s it, you’re done.
