AcknowledgementAsked on September 19, 2024 at 8:28 AM
Good day,
On the submissions table, is there a way to add a LINK that when I download the submissions table in Excel, there will be a link that I can click on, and it will take me to the actual signed document?
FORM: AOD's Acknowledgement of Debt.
See below what my table looks like now. I am aware that I can press on "View" and "Download" the form, but there has been a specific request from payroll department that there be a link on the excel sheet that takes them immediately to the actual signed form.
Thanking you in advance

Hi FPG GROUP,
Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand what you’d like to do, but I’ll need a bit of time to work out a solution. I’ll get back to you shortly.

Hi FPG GROUP,
If you check the submissions Table for your signed documents. There is a column where the signed document is located. Once you download the submissions as excel, you would see the actual link that you can use to access the signed document. Let me guide you through it:
Submissions Table view
Download Submission as Excel
- In Sign Builder, click on Sign builder with a dropdown arrow on the top left side of the page. You will see a Menu.
- Choose Tables, once your on the table page look for the Download All Button on the top right side of the page.
- Click on the button and choose the file type as Excel.
- Once downloaded, open the Excel File and check the Signed Documents Column where your files are attached. You will see the link, just copy it and paste it to your browser.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Hi FPG GROUP,
The view that I shared was specific to forms with Jotform Sign enabled. After cloning and testing your form, I noticed that you're using a Topaz Systems E-Signature widget, which is categorized under Form Builder.
When I cloned your form, the Signed Document column didn’t appear in the table by default. Did you manually add this column? As for the Excel file missing links to the signed documents, it's because the Signed Document column in your table is currently empty. Links will only be included if there are attached files present in the Signed Documents column in your table.
If you want the Signed document to be included on the Excel File. You can use Zapier to connect your Jotform submissions into an Excel document. Let me show you how:
- In Form Builder, in the orange navigation bar at the top of the page, click on Settings.
- Click on Integrations on the left side of the page.
- At the top of the Integrations Page, search for Microsoft Excel and click it. Authenticate using your Zapier account.
- Based on what you need, select Zap and click on the Use this Zap button.
Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
