Hi Natisha,
Can you check the Trashed entries in the form's Tables to see if you'll be able to find the submissions you said were not displaying? Let me show you how:
- In your account's My Forms, select the form and click on Submissions located on the top portion of the page.
- In Tables, click on the vertical ellipsis next to the form's title.
- From the dropdown, select Trashed entries.
- A modal will show on the left, and you will see there the list of deleted submissions. Click on one to select, or click Select All to highlight all them.
- Finally, click on Restore to recover them.
Another thing you can check is the Tables' archive section. The same steps apply as the above, only this time, you'll select Archived entries. Check out the screencast below:
A Starter Plan can receive up to 100 submissions per month, but can store as may as it can, so long as it won't exceed the 100 MB limit for storage. You can check this link for details about an account's usage and limits.
Unfortunately, any deleted, lost, or missing submissions that are not in Tables can't be recovered anymore. You may need to request for form users to submit their entries to have the data stored again.

This is truly unfortunate. We were not notified that we would lose the initial responses, and have no way to track them down. Is there anything that can be done?

Hi Natisha,
If you were able to follow the steps I shared with you and still didn't find the submission you're looking for, unfortunately they can't be recovered anymore. Please note as well, and for further clarifications, if a submission was left in the Trashed entries for 30 days without them being recovered, they will be automatically deleted by our system. Submission are kept in the form's Tables or in the account in general for as long as the account is active, unless they were deleted either intentionally or by our system.
