Random Value Generator stopped working

Hi,

This widget (label name: Unique Identifier) simply stopped working. I had submitted multiple leads after adding the widget and they all had a value generated. I DID move a few field positions around right before this happened but had made no changes to the widget when it just stopped generating values. Because of this I deleted the field from my form and re-added it and it is now working again. Can anyone explain this behavior? I'm just concerned that if I set this form (Get Supply Estimate Form) live and this happens again.
