Jotform using PayPal Business

    Hi there,

How can we pass a custom field into PayPal using PayPal Business? We can see it can be done with "Fetch Data from a Text Field" for PayPal Personal, but we don't see that as an option in Business.

Is there a different way we can do this?

    Thanks

    Hi afdo,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. The Fetch Data from a Text Field option is only available with PayPal Personal payment integration. If you wish to use this feature, you'll need to switch to a PayPal Personal account. To do this, you'll have to remove your current payment processor and replace it with the new one. Please note that removing the current processor will also delete your existing submission data, so we recommend backing up your submissions before making any changes.

If you can provide more details on how you will use this feature? We can provide an alternative solution.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with possible solutions.

We want to have more information going in to PayPal because right now the only identifying information that goes to PayPal is the credit card name and the amount. If there are any alternate solutions that would be great, thanks!

    Hi afdo,

While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform. I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developers. When or if it's implemented depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

Let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
