Issue uploading large files

I created a form for our clients to upload media for their events/presentations. However, I've noticed that uploads of decent size fail. I haven't found the cutoff point, but I've tried 2GB, 3GB, and 5GB files with no success. The form has no file size limit, and I've tried it on multiple browsers. I moved this form from another service to Jotform because the other service capped uploads at 1 GB, and I assumed Jotform could do better. Any help appreciated!

    Hi Brandon,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand your concern regarding file uploads. Currently, the maximum individual file size allowed in Jotform is 1 GB. Unfortunately, files larger than this will not upload successfully. I recommend advising your clients to keep individual file sizes within this limit or using alternative methods like splitting larger files into smaller segments or utilizing external storage services (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox) and linking to them via your form. We also have a guide about How to Change the File Size Limit in File Upload that you can check out.

Let us know if there’s anything else we can do for you.
