Geo stamp widget is not working properly

Hi there, I had a form submission bargle on me yesterday (16-Sep-24), and noticed that the Geo Stamp widget only captured a time-stamp; not a location.

Dove a little deeper and found that there was no way to configure it ... also tried to remove and re-add the widget to my form ... please address

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I tried using the Geo Stamp widget on my form, and it seems that the date and location were captured during the submission. Check out the image below:

Can you check if the user allowed the form to access their location? This is needed, so the widget can fetch the current location of the user who accessed the form. Check out the image below:

Can you try testing your form again, and click the Allow option on the location, then check the submission if the location is collected upon submission? I have also cleared your form cache as a precaution.

Unfortunately, the widget could not be configured as it is only designed to collect information such as the date and location. As you can see, you can add this to your form, but there are no options for configuration. Check out the image below:
