Why is encryption randomly on when I create a new form?

    Hi Lindy,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked your account, and I couldn't find any forms that are currently encrypted. Can you share with us the link to the form that seems to have encryption enabled?

Also, please note that form encryption is disabled by default in Jotform. To enable encryption, you would need to actively enter your account password and set an access code. If you haven't done this, it's not possible that encryption was turned on during form creation.

In the meantime, let me show you how to disable the form encryption:

    1. In Form Builder, click on Settings at the top of the page.
    2. Toggle off the button on the right side of Encrypt Form Data.

    3. There will be a pop-up asking you to confirm the action. So, you just need to click on the Yes, Disable option.
